Co-founder and Director of yipdeakin, Chris is a seasoned engineering leader and digital transformation specialist with 25 years of experience in capital project delivery, infrastructure development, and digital engineering.

He has successfully led over $100B SGD worth of mega-projects across UK, Singapore, Malaysia, Australia and New Zealand, playing a pivotal role in delivering large-scale, multi-billion-dollar developments in rail, metro, and urban infrastructure.

Chris has built, mentored, and led high-performing teams in both railway design and digital engineering, fostering a culture of innovation, technical excellence, and shared leadership.

With a strong focus on collective professional growth, he encourages pushing boundaries, challenging conventional thinking, and developing leadership skills by embracing collaborative decision-making, continuous learning, and knowledge sharing. Lorraine Yip | Director

Co-founder and Director of yipdeakin, Lorraine brings over 25 years of comprehensive experience in architecture, interior design, design management, procurement planning and project delivery—spanning the full project lifecycle from inception and design development to documentation, construction, and completion.

Her career has taken her across multiple countries, where she has led high-performing teams and delivered award-winning projects throughout APAC, the Middle East, the United States, and Europe. Having held senior leadership roles at leading global design firms, Lorraine is now focused on shaping yipdeakin—a practice that reflects her commitment to holistic, human-centric, wellness-led, and environmentally sustainable design.

Lorraine’s portfolio is both expansive and diverse, covering large-scale commercial developments, mixed-use precincts, high-end retail destinations, luxury resorts, multi-residential towers, institutional campuses, and major transport infrastructure. She has contributed to complex, multi-stakeholder projects such as city-defining convention centres, public transport stations, flagship commercial towers, and transformative public realm enhancements—ranging from 5,000 sqm interiors to master plans exceeding 500,000 sqm. Her design approach seamlessly integrates cultural sensitivity, operational performance, and environmental responsibility.

Among her accolades are multiple industry recognitions, including the MUSE Design Award, Master Builders Award, and honours from the Australian Institute of Architects, UDIA, and World Architecture Festival.
