digital
Today’s creative world of Architecture, Engineering and Construction seamlessly integrates data, digital information models, tools and applications. This Digital Transformation can be classified as process, operation, technology, innovation and, ultimately… evolution.
At yipdeakin we create strategies and methodologies that drive digital projects, establishing the path to the digital twin through connected data and a seamless digital thread, while also planning for the operational asset.
delivery
We work with you and your team to define a project methodology with the goal of establishing an efficient and effective digital delivery solution. We focus on the movement of documentation combined with data transparency, generating risk clarity and ownership whilst fostering closer collaboration with the designer, constructor and owner.
We look to help to maintain the design intent through the entire digital project process, to guide the project vision towards the completed and installed “as-is” model which is handed over as the completed asset, forming the Digital Twin.
data
Open and transparent data can only assist us in the built environment, the supply chain and the journey of/to the Digial Twin.
If we think about digital elements, they are all just individual assets (to a creator, producer, owner, etc) and as they move through the journey/supply chain that “ownership” transfers. Thinking of it this way can help us look to the data and traceability to then give us the knowledge of where and when the “asset” is in the chain, providing transparency on progress, development and ultimately the associated costs of said asset.
Data is the leader in all this, what it tells us and the knowledge it holds is priceless. Through Connected Data we can see very clearly where risks may lie with transparency of the chain of events to come and also that have been. With this approach we can start on the journey to the “as-is” model, moving away from the as-built, to the closest representation of the design that we can get is only going to be viable through the openness of all assets and associated data, to reduce the “unknowns” as much as we can.
transformation
Understanding our clients position in the journey of digital transformation is key.
We help you to do this by using our Digital Path to explain the boarder view of the journey, to find your current location and to build the ideas and solutions that enable a smooth transition to a more efficient and effective way of working.
The digital elements bring together processes within the world of Digital AEC to cut through the complexities to provide a simple and clear guide… The digital project.
